I don't want to sound like I'm comparing both fish ponds so just bear with me if I sounded like I'm trying not to. (This is going to be difficult).
The place was a private property converted into a natured-park where you can go fishing, boating, horse back riding, bicycling and zip lining. During our trip we only tried fishing because we knew that we will be visiting the place again some time next week since it's their 1st Anniversary and prices will be discounted up to 50%. No entrance fee. (Now I sounded like I'm advertising).
How to get there?
Either by private vehicle or public, the road is always through North Road Project (NRP). We took a van for Danao in SM terminal for P50.00 each. The fare shouldn't be that much if we took the jeepney (Php18.00/person). Once you get to Liloan proper, stop by at the famous old church and the lagoon is only 3 minutes walk from there.
The entrance fee is Php 100/person and it's consumable for food and beverages. The cottage we rented was Php300.00 in Pond 3 which is near the 1st restaurant. We've heard tips that when we order food, we should expect that it will be done after 45 minutes but I was surprised because our food was served not long before we knew it.
Fishing started after lunch time. It was my first time with the real fishing rod so I kinda enjoyed it. If you break the rod, it's considered sold (plus Php 300.00). Fish bait was only Php 10.00.
We brought our freshly caught fish at home and grilled it.
